I've always had something against the houndstooth design...not sure why, maybe some sort of connection with a past traumatic experience! But this would make a pretty cool tie for someone brave! (the green is pretty out there!)

houndstooth is overdone, in my opinion. it's hard to do something new and inventive with a pattern that's so overexposed. but i do appreciate that you added a stripe of darker green for interest.
